Photoventures
is very sad to announce the news that Tony Troman died peacefully
at his home on Sunday 9th February. Tony was a long-time supporter
and friend of Photoventures. Always great company, he quietly enjoyed
his photography and trips to new and old destinations alike.
Tony
has been on more than 20 tours with us as well as travelling to
numerous other destinations around the world. He enjoyed travelling
with other people and always got the maximum from his trips overseas.
A
quietly talented photographer, Tony was an Associate of the Royal
Photographic Society and was awarded the Society’s Fenton
Medal for services to the RPS International Audio Visual Festival
over many decades. A long-standing member of Epsom Camera Club,
he served on numerous committees both in the club and the Federation
for many years.
His
passing is a sad occasion but we are thankful for knowing him and
enjoying some great times together.
