1: Thursday 3rd September 2009
We fly from London Heathrow to Portland, Oregon then transfer to
our motel.

2: Friday 4th September 2009
An early departure is made as we drive along the Columbia River
and into Washington to Pullman in the heart of Palouse County.

3: Saturday 5th September 2009
All day spent in Palouse County in and around Pullman and Colfax.
We will be including a sunrise and sunset visit to the amazing Steptoe
Butte.

4: Sunday 6th September 2009
All day spent in Palouse County in and around Pullman & Colfax.
This will allow us plenty of time to photograph the wonderful barns
and rolling corn country.

5: Monday 7th September 2009
We drive to Moscow for breakfast as we start to travel the 100 miles
to Hells Canyon NP where we spend most of our day exploring this
super location. We end the day with an 85 mile journey to Baker
City.

6: Tuesday 8th September 2009
Departing Baker City we head south across Oregon’s high country
to the John Day Fossil Beds and then to Mitchell and Redmond.

7: Wednesday 9th September 2009
After an early breakfast we start south through Bend to Crater Lake.
We explore around Crater Lake before heading south to Grants Pass.

8: Thursday 10th September 2009
Our journey takes us south along Interstate 5 to Grants Pass before
turning west, crossing the Coast Ranges until we reach the Pacific
Coast at Crescent City.

9: Friday 11th September 2009
After a morning in the Redwoods before following the coast north
to Oregon and Gold Beach. This takes us along some of the rugged
Pacific coastline.

10: Saturday 12th September 2009
The day is spent exploring the amazing Gold Beach and Pistol River
area with its great coastal photography and amazing beaches.

11: Sunday 13th September 2009
Our journey continues north along the Oregon Coast to Bandon. Allowing
plenty of time to stop along the way we will arrive in time to capture
sunset on the amazing Bandon Beaches

12: Monday 14th September 2009
The day is spent exploring the wild coastline around Bandon and
Coos Bay.

13: Tuesday 15th September 2009
We continue to explore the area of wild coastline around Bandon
and Coos Bay and enjoy thje eneving light at Bandon.

14: Wednesday 16th September 2009
We continue north along the wild Oregon coast photographing the
dunes and towns along the way.

15: Thursday 17th September 2009
Our journey continues to Cannon Beach, one of the most exciting
photographic locations in Oregon. We will also find time to visit
Ecola State Park.

16: Friday 18th September 2009
An early start is made to Astoria after a final visit to Cannon
Beach. We then follow the south bank of the Columbia River east
to Portland.

17: Saturday 19th September 2009
We have an early start as we head to the Airport to join our return
flight to London Heathrow.
Day
18: Sunday 20th September 2009
Arrival in London is the next morning having lost 7 hours on our
return journey.
