1: Sunday 4th October 2009
We fly from London Heathrow to Denver then transfer to Colorado
Springs.

2: Monday 5th October 2009
In the morning visit to The USAF Chapel. We then transfer by road
to Santa Fe.

3: Tuesday 6th October 2009
We make a morning visit to the city of Santa Fe. In the afternoon
we transfer to Albuquerque.

4: Wednesday 7th October 2009
Before dawn we head for the Balloon Launch Field to enjoy the early
morning activities. The day is spent in Albuquerque with an evening
visit to the launch field.

5: Thursday 8th October 2009
Well before dawn we head for the Balloon Launch Field to enjoy the
early morning activities. The day is spent in and around Albuquerque.

6: Friday 9th October 2009
Before dawn we head for the Balloon Launch Field to enjoy the early
morning activities. We will spend the day in Albuquerque. We will
arrange time for an optional balloon flight for some aerial photography.

7: Saturday 10th October 2009
Before dawn we head for the Balloon Launch Field to enjoy the early
morning activities. The day is spent in and around Albuquerque.

8: Sunday 11th October 2009
Our final dawn visit at the Balloon Launch Field to enjoy the early
morning activities. We then travel to Farmington in time for an
evening visit to Shiprock.

9: Monday 12th October 2009
We drive north to Durango then continue into the heart of the Rockies
with its swathes of golden Aspen trees until we reach the old mining
town of Silverton.

10: Tuesday 13th October 2009
Our route takes us north to Ouray before we cross the Dallas Divide
to Telluride. We then retrace our steps to Ridgway and end our day
in Montrose.

11: Wednesday 14th October 2009
In the morning we visit to The Black Canyon of the Gunnison before
travelling to Delta and exploring the northern side of the canyon
down to Gunnison.

12: Thursday 15th October 2009
Our journey takes us north through the heart of the Rockies to Crested
Butte and on past Maroon Bells to Carbonville taking plenty of time
to photograph the fall colours.

13: Friday 16th October 2009
We travel east back into the mountains passing the resort of Aspen
before we turn north to Leadville situated right in the heart of
the Colorado Rockies.

14: Saturday 17th October 2009
Our journey continues through the mountains to Frisco and Dillon
before we turn north to the Rocky Mountain National Park.

15: Sunday 18th October 2009
The day is spent visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park crossing
over the high pass to Estes Park in the east.

16: Monday 19th October 2009
After a morning visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park we turn
south to Denver.

17: Tuesday 20th October 2009
An early start is made as we head to the Airport to join our return
flight to London Heathrow.

18: Wednesday 21st October 2009
Arriving in London the following morning we will have lost 7 hours
on our return journey. |
